Channel 16 is a universal distress
 channel...monitored at all times


CH83 .... for Calling, Trip Reports and Rescue
CH62 .... when reception on CH83 is poor

CH22 .... continuous weather updates

SSB:

4417kHz .... long distance

 

Weather reports are broadcast at the following times

CH62 and 83: 0700,1145,1420,1745 and 1933 hrs
4417kHz:         0815,1203,1433 and 1715 hrs
